The City of Pembroke Pines is located in southwest Broward County with an area of 34 square miles. The estimated population is 148,000. Pembroke Pines is home to the 300 acre Broward County Park - CB Smith, oriented to watersports and includes camping, tennis, miniature golf, fishing, rollerskating, bike trails and picnic pavilions. Pembroke Pines has the largest Charter School System in Broward County, and is home to campuses for Broward Community College and Florida International University.
